Using Stock

Stock photography is commonly used in new or existing websites. As much as we would like to hire  a local photographer, it is not always feasible, due to the time and cost of hiring the photographer and models, scheduling the shoot, and coming up props. In comes stock photography, and presto, you have some high quality images perfect for your website.

Pay For Credits

Most stock photography websites are intuitive. You sign up and pay for credits that you can use against the photos you wish to purchase rights for. The rights you are given are limited, therefore it is wise to read the policies.

Photo Board

Each web design company has different procedures for procuring the image content for new websites. 360WD has stock photo packages in which you hand over the responsibility for photo searching and purchasing to our team. If you would rather do it yourself, you can sign up, search and buy on your own. If you want help making final decisions, as we suggest you do, you can send us a link to your photo board. The photo board, or other titles depending on the stock photo company you are using, holds all the photos you have saved for a particular project. This allows you to gather photos you like in a basket to compare before you purchase. Most companies allow you to share the link to that basket. The designer can then give you suggestions on the best images to help market your brand.
